I had read where Veja runs large. I am a 7.5 (38) and ordered a 6.5 (37) and they fit perfect.

Very cute but very uncomfortable. There is no support. Felt like walking on cardboard.

Love these. They do run large. I wear a 7 and ordered a size 6. Perfect!

I’m usually a 6-6.5 and the 37 (6) was way too big. I’m hoping the 5 fits, but I’m almost doubtful, given my feet were swimming in these — width-wide too and I usually have the opposite problem bc my feet are slightly wide.

Like so many others, I’m obsessed with Veja Sneakers. But also like so many others, the tongue is killing me! I’m going to try to stick it out and see if it will break in after a few wears with full socks on. I tried about 6 different Veja styles and they all have the same problem. You definitely cannot wear these without socks (I had bruises within an hour of wear). Someone please tell me that they’re not so rigid after a few more wears 🙁

So cute on, but there’s no way they’d ever be comfortable with the length of the tongue and how stiff it is. No idea why they’d make them like that, but it’s a travesty.

A little loose. And stiff. I’d say they’re low arch support. I’m a true 8, ordered an 8 and they do feel a little big with no-show socks. Maybe some arch support insoles would help them not feel so big.
At first I thought I’d have to return them because the tongue is firm and cut into the front of my ankle. Other reviewers had the same issue. After some google research I found a trick. Threading the laces back through the top hole we’d usually ignore allows you to cross the laces under the tongue which lifts it away from your ankle.
Going to wear them in the house for a day to see if this trick really works over time before getting them waterproofed and taking them out.

I love the look of these. But I agree 100% with other reviews: That tongue is unbearable. It dug in to my foot so hard I couldn’t take more than a few steps! It might soften up after LOTS of wear, but at $140 for a simple sneaker, I’m not going to chance it. Surprised that Veja hasn’t listened to customers & modified this design flaw.

I truly don’t understand how anyone can wear these with the leather tongue being so stiff. Taking even three steps in them while trying on felt like they were slicing the fronts of my ankles up, yet they fit pretty much perfectly otherwise. I thought about trying to soften up the tongue, but ultimately just sent them back. These are great looking but my god the pain. 🙁 The canvas volley Veja is where it’s at as far as comfort – those I wore right out of the box and all day long with ZERO discomfort. Hard to find though.

Usually wear a 6.5-7, and purchased a 6 and they fit perfectly! Love these stylish sneakers. Many have complained about the comfort, and I think they are very comfortable for day-to-day casual wear. I walked my dogs 1 mile in them no problems. Would I walk 10 miles in them? No, but at that point you should be wearing athletic shoes.

The shoe was cute but it really was very uncomfortable. Had to return it 🙁

First of all let me start by saying this is my second pair of Veja’s and I’m in love!! They are comfort right out of the box for me! The first pair was campo. Both pairs same fit size 38 (7) and I’m always a 7.5 in pretty much every shoe. I would like to add I tried on the mixed leather trainer in another store and those ran smaller and more narrow for some reason. That shoe is nylon and suede.
My foot type is slightly wide but most shoes are fine for me and I have a low instep but not totally flat. These shoes are nice and roomy so if your a true narrow I’m not sure these would work well. I usually run into trouble with shoes hitting my ankle and rubbing. These shoes are absolutely perfection. I could walk in them for days. I’m now officially hooked and I need to decide what color to get next!
I stepped on a flat measuring tape to get my foot measuring for you. Almost 9.5” and the shoe measured the same inside but my toes have plenty of room with a thin ankle sock.
Hope this helped you out. I never feel like there is enough measurement in people’s reviews.

These sneakers are very stylish, love the color but it was not comfortable at all. The insole is hard and has no arch support, the tongue was digging on my ankle and it was so uncomfortable. The leather was also hard. I tried it on a few times and walked around the house with it to see if I can break it in but I don’t want to spend this much money for something I don’t think I will feel comfortable in. I had to return it.

I have sensitive feet and fashionable shoes rarely feel good. these do! I feel stylish and comfortable!

Super comfortable

Classic tennis sneaker fit. TTS. Like all leather sneakers a touch stiff at first which softens with wear. Love them.

I loved these shoes but they are super wide and loose for me. The style and quality are great but I looked like I was wearing men’s sneakers that were too big, even though the length was perfect. I think often sneaker brands don’t adjust the fit to women’s sizes/feet, they just scale the shoe down. It’s unfortunate because I loved them, but they’re going back!

These shoes are amazing! I bought them for my trip to Europe this week and wore them for three weeks straight without any problems. They were the perfect blend of comfort and style I was looking for! No issues walking 10 plus miles in them everyday!

After reading the reviews, I was a little worried about the tongue. Thankfully, I don’t even notice it! I’ve worn these super stylish shoes to church with a skirt & to a outdoor concert……VERY comfortable & oh so chic!

Love my shoes! So stylish and sleek. They are stiff the first day but with a full day of wear you will break them in. No, they’re not cushiony or have memory foam. If you want to feel like you’re walking on a cloud get hokas or other running sneakers. That being said I do find these vejas comfortable because it is a firm flat shoe and I feel like I have good support. It’s just a different type of comfort than my hokas. I am a true size 9 and these are true to size. They fit perfect.

Very sleek looking; the “VEJA” logo is pretty much unnoticeable (a plus for me)
The shoe is pretty flat and low to the ground but I don’t mind it

perfect! Love Zappos!

Worst-fitting, most uncomfortable expensive shoes (or any shoe ) I’ve ever purchased.

Didn’t like the contrast between super white bright leather on top and yellowish sole. Shoe form/width seemed to be made for a man’s foot, unisex maybe? And they were very uncomfortable.
