This is a cute shoe and fits pretty well — maybe just a tad narrower than normal. The problem is, however, that the front edge of the sole under the heel is extremely slippery. I slipped at least 5 times — on my hardwood floor, the running board of my car and even on the street — in the first wearing. I even tried to scuff up the sole but it didn’t help.

I love the high end style of the Vaneli shoes, but I always have to order a larger size than I wear in other brands. And they do run a bit narrow. I take between a 6.5M and a 7M, so I always start with a 7M. I would need a 7.5M in these shoes.

This is a cute, versatile flat that can be worn pretty much year round. I have a very narrow heel, so I was thrilled to find a shoe that actually fits and doesn’t rub blisters. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a narrow foot.

True to size. I bought the Vaneli Serene to compare with the French Sole Passport (which runs at about double the price). Overall, I felt that the Serene won in the looks department (surprising!) whereas the Passport was more comfortable. Unlike other quilted patent-toe ballet flats out there, the Serene has a nice almond toe, which helps keep this shoe classic. The sides of the flat are just about average for a ballet flat — neither too high (making your foot look long) nor too low (causing the shoe to gap as you walk). The leather and quilting itself seemed to be of good quality. In the comfort department, the Serene lost out to the Passport. The lining is synthetic, which causes my foot to sweat and get uncomfortable. Also, the little “heel” at the back is made of a hard plastic, not rubber, which means it slips on tile and wood floors. You won’t take a fall because the rest of the outsole is rubber (so the ball of your foot stays planted), but having your heel slip around is certainly disconcerting! The Serene has no arch support (typical for ballet flats), but it’s cushy enough to walk on. As with all ballet flats, I would probably add an insole for comfort.

My favorite shoes! They are so classy and are great for the summer and fall. They have great arch support for a flat and they go with everything (I got mine in the pudding color). Everyone says they run narrow, which is great for me since I have narrow feet. Although they don’t run as narrow as Stuart Weitzman shoes. These are work appropriate and comfortable enough to walk around campus in. And they look and feel far more expensive than what I paid for them.

I’m in love with these Chanel inspired flats from Vaneli. Had a Cinderella moment when I tried on the shoe last night and knew my prince had come – at last – in a super comfortable, chic, well made ballet flat.

These are the *BEST* flats I have ever found. Super comfortable, look/feel very well made. No side gaps, no creases when you walk, no toe showing, and the toe box does not smoosh your toes at all. I take a 9 in Ugg boots, and a 9 1/2 in sneakers. I bought these in a 9 and they fit perfectly. I will be buying these in at least one more color (I bought the black with black patent toe).

These are the greatest little flats. They have a nice arch support in them which is why I decided to try them. I broke both my ankles 6 months ago, and I’ve got to have comfort and support. These have everything including style.

These shoes are good. They aren’t cheap, but it’s clear that’s because they are of good quality. The leather is substantial, they have a shape, a solid sole, and there is moderate arch support. The wide is perfect and doesn’t squeeze my toe knuckles like some shoes (even in wide). Plus, these look like a high end design and get lots of compliments. They’re still a flat so you’re not going to get ideal comfort, but they’re pretty good for a flat. I hope they hold up well.

I love these shoes. In fact I am going to buy another pair, just to have on hand for the future. I bought them for a trip to Rome. I was able to wear comfortably from the start with no break in time. They are dressy but walkable, even on cobblestones! They are reminiscent of classic Chanel style.

I love these shoes. They are the perfect pair of flats to wear with skinny jeans or leggings, and I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They felt true to size and to width, although the toe bed felt a bit tight on the first wear. Now that I’ve worn them several times, they feel great.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable. When I first tried them on I was worried that they might be too stiff and chafe my feet after a while. This does not happen at all. I have walked long distances and stood in these for long periods of time with no discomfort. Don’t hesitate to buy these. They are fashionable, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Ordered the 8.5 and had to reorder the 9’s – they were definitely too small and I am almost always an 8.5. Lovely shoe though, and Zappos’ return policy made it so easy.
